GO MOUNTAIN BIKE Summer Holiday Trail Rides We had a lot of young people active over the summer and there were numerous trail rides and also a Dirt Jump Camp in Monifieth (Thanks to the Friday Night Project for inviting us down). We now have quite a few students progressing well with the GO MOUNTAIN BIKE proficiency award. Despite the soggy summer it didn't seem to dampen spirits.

Birkhill Primary School MTB Camp We recently attended Birkhill Primary in Dundee and ran x2 Bike Camps with Primary 6 & 7 Pupils as part of their Health Week. The camps were a hit with the students and we will be back next year for more fun. Many thanks to Depute Head Teacher Caroline MacDiarmid and all the other teachers and parent helpers.

Follow Me World Tour: DCA, Dundee, June 15th We had a fantastic night at the DCA on June 15th. It was great to see Seasons on the big screen, but the highlight had to be the screening of Anthill Films new flik "Follow Me". Matt Hunter's huge air to wall ride and the footage from New Zealand with Gee Atherton has to be seen to be believed!!!
Get stoked for riding with this great series of films
from bikeskills.com - Mark Weir ripping it on the Peacock Pit Pump Track.
Some of the riding crew try out an Emergency Shelter for size
Bike Skillz Easter Camps Report: A huge thanks to everyone who helped with the Easter bike camps (David, Sean and Stephen at Active Schools and a big thanks to Roger Peart). The original camp places were swallowed quickly and we had to run a further camp in the afternoon such was demand. Day 1 had everyone hitting the Covert Obstacle Course and saw even the most timid of riders hitting the seesaw and skinny sections by the end of the session. Day 2 we hit the trail and the riders took the skills they had learnt from the day before and applied them to the trail. Everyone seemed to come away itching to ride more and there were numerous groans of disappointment when we had to head back to the car park. Roll on the next one!
